About The Position

The Business Analyst (Operations Planning) at FormFactor, Inc. is responsible for computing, analyzing, and interpreting complex and disparate data to produce relevant and consumable data reports and dashboards. This role involves using marketing forecasts and process capacity models to predict required investments for new product ramps and to support business growth plans. The analyst will understand and model the manufacturing process for FormFactor's MEMS (micro-electromechanical systems) probe cards, which are used for logic devices, suitable for flip chips for microprocessors and SoC devices, as well as the fine pitch bump wafer test. Additionally, the analyst will collect data about customer needs, validate growth business plans, and estimate return on investments. Analyzing customer-related data to ensure that projected investments improve gross margin and profit is also a key responsibility. The role includes documenting operational procedures, managing the implementation of capacity ramps, and monitoring gross margin impacts as projects progress.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 2 years of experience as a Lean Specialist, Industrial Engineer, or related occupation.
  • At least 1 year of experience using Lean manufacturing techniques including Value stream mapping and Pareto analysis.
  • Experience using MS Excel power query, pivot tables, and macros for data collection and validation.
  • Experience using Power BI functions including DAX query view and model view to create dashboards.
  • Experience building SQL queries to link WIP and Inventory data for MRP support.
  • Experience using ERP software including Oracle or SAP for part consumption analysis.
  • Experience using Six sigma methodology and tools including DMAIC, PFMEA, KAIZEN, and Fishbone diagrams.
