About The Position

The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, improving processes, and supporting solution design. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to document requirements, evaluate existing processes, and recommend optimized solutions. The Business Analyst will also prepare detailed documentation, serve as a liaison between various teams, and support user acceptance testing to ensure that solutions meet business needs. Additionally, the role includes developing reports and dashboards to track project outcomes and assisting in change management strategies for new systems or processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Excel, Visio, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in travel, e-commerce, fintech, healthcare, etc.
  • Knowledge of data modeling, SQL, or basic programming concepts.
  • Certification such as CBAP, CCBA, or Agile BA certification.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
  • Evaluate existing business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend optimized solutions.
  • Prepare detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), and user stories.
  • Serve as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and external partners to ensure clear understanding and alignment.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design solutions that meet business needs and ensure feasibility.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT), validate deliverables against requirements, and ensure solutions meet expected outcomes.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to track project outcomes and business KPIs.
  • Assist in defining and implementing change management strategies for new systems or processes.
