We’re the world’s leading provider of secure financial messaging services, headquartered in Belgium. We are the way the world moves value – across borders, through cities and overseas. No other organisation can address the scale, precision, pace and trust that this demands, and we’re proud to support the global economy. We’re unique too. We were established to find a better way for the global financial community to move value – a reliable, safe and secure approach that the community can trust, completely. We’re always striving to be better and are constantly evolving in an ever-changing landscape, without undermining that trust. Five decades on, our vibrant community reflects the complexity and diversity of the financial ecosystem. We innovate diligently, test exhaustively, then implement fast. In a connected and exciting era, our mission has never been more relevant. Swift now has a presence in 200+ countries and legal territories to serve a community of more than 12,000 banks and financial institutions. Are you a business analyst who strives to deliver true customer value by bridging the gap between business and implementation teams? Based in Virginia, you will be working as a member of a highly motivated team that is responsible for end-to-end delivery of Swift messaging services and products like FIN, InterAct, FileAct, RMA, Copy services or SwiftNet Link amongst others. We are looking for a business/functional analyst who excels in translating business needs and requirements into technical functionalities and specifications for large size/complexity/system risk projects, ensuring customers' business problems are solved, while also investigating and connecting the dots across existing systems and processes. Within an agile environment, you will be working very closely with the product managers within your squad formulating user's stories that will serve to create the backlog later. This role encompasses a wide collaboration with several stakeholders such as Enterprise Architects, Solution Architect, Business Analyst and developers, within the Core Operations tribe and across other tribes/groups. You will often act with a high degree of autonomy—proactively seeking out the right people, information and documentation across the organisation to overcome hurdles and propose pragmatic solutions.
