The Business Analyst plays a critical role in evaluating business processes, supporting application implementations, optimizing system functionality, and providing ongoing ownership for assigned applications. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure applications meet operational needs throughout their lifecycle. The Business Analyst will support multiple initiatives, including new system implementations, in-flight projects, and existing applications that require enhanced oversight, optimization, and long-term ownership. This position is both project- and operations-focused, requiring strong analytical skills, technical understanding, and the ability to work effectively in a regulated environment. Objectives of This Role Evaluate current business processes and application functionality to identify opportunities for improvement Serve as the functional business owner for assigned applications, including systems without existing IT ownership Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements that support successful implementations and ongoing operations Support the full application lifecycle, including planning, implementation, optimization, maintenance, and continuous improvement Ensure solutions meet business needs, user expectations, and organizational standards
