Savvas Learning Company is seeking bright, motivated undergraduate students to join us for our dynamic 10-week Business Analyst Internship in Chandler, AZ. Over the summer, participatnts will receive guidance from top teams During the program, participants will receive guidance from top teams in the K-12 education field, work on real-life business projects, attend weekly informational sessions to learn about other business areas, network with other students, attend off-site events, and finally, present a project to Savvas’ senior leaders at the end of the summer to showcase the impact you’ve made on our business. Intern positions are full-time opportunities, 40 hours per week, requiring a hybrid work schedule with two (2) days onsite, in either our Chandler, AZ office. You’ll typically be on-site on Wednesdays and another day as determined by you and your mentor during the first week of the program. Interns have the opportunity to meet with experienced professionals across a variety of software disciplines and be a part of a world-class Business Analysis and Project Management team that builds and supports learning products used by millions of people every day. Savvas Business Analyst interns work on special projects that improve the digital learning experience for students and teachers. Past interns have worked on projects that included: Integrating an adaptive learning engine into our platform Improving our content authoring tools Improving the accessibility of Realize for students with disabilities Porting an application from Chromebooks to Windows Creating an AR application as a companion to Savvas textbooks Creating security monitoring dashboards Developing automated tests for our learning management service Creating project dashboards and automations for team level project tracking data. On a typical day, the Intern will: Participate in a planning meeting with a team Meet with and shadow Business Analysts to learn their role Learning customer empathy through bug reproduction and analysis. Elicit and evaluate project requirements Write user stories with acceptance criteria. Work on the project implementation Test various use cases
