About The Position

The public sector is a growth area for Dayforce with significant momentum. In the few short years, the public sector vertical has successfully delivered key new logos including the Government of Canada, State of California, City of Columbus, Milwaukee County and the City of Pittsburgh. These sales wins combined with the beginning of material internal product investments requires the public sector team to develop a detailed business plan and governance model which is scalable and will provide the business with a detailed, multiyear roadmap. This individual will be a critical contributor to the development of this business plan. In addition to this business plan, this individual will be a critical component to other internal and cross functional projects related to the public sector.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program (or an equivalent qualification), demonstrating a strong foundation in business acumen, strategic thinking, and leadership
  • Strong analytical skills/insights to drive actionable outcomes in real-world business scenarios. Your ability to interpret data, identify trends, and derive actionable insights will be critical in shaping our strategic direction.

Responsibilities

  • Accelerate Public Sector Business Planning Globally: You will play a pivotal role in propelling the growth and strategic direction of our public sector business globally. This involves devising innovative strategies, identifying market opportunities, and collaborating with regional teams to execute plans effectively.
  • Support Cross-Functional Work Efforts: Foster collaboration and synergy across various teams within the organization. This entails aligning objectives, facilitating communication, and ensuring seamless coordination to achieve shared goals, particularly within the context of public sector initiatives.
  • Develop Scalable Training Material for Selling into the Public Sector: Supporting the team by contributing your expertise to the creation of comprehensive and scalable training materials tailored specifically for selling into the public sector. This entails collaborating with experts to simplify complex concepts, contribute to designing engaging training modules, and continuously refining resources to meet market demands.
  • Manage Public Sector User Group and PS Product Council: You will take ownership of nurturing and expanding our public sector user community, fostering engagement, and gathering valuable insights to inform product development initiatives. Additionally, you will oversee the Public Sector Product Council, driving collaboration between key stakeholders to shape product strategy and roadmap priorities.
