The selected candidate will operate under the direct supervision of a senior program manager and support projects around ground-based mobile satellite communication systems and radio frequency engineering. The Business Analyst Intern will receive direct mentorship in project management and execution including financial / earned value management (EVM) reporting. This position will apply principles and techniques of program management business analyst and financial acumen to support the program management staff on projects supporting all phases of design, development, integration/implementation, analysis, and testing.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and have valid documentation
  • Must be currently enrolled at, or have recently graduated from, an ABET accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business / Project Management.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic knowledge of RF systems
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing all costs, schedule and scope issues supporting our Primes (Leidos and CACI)
  • Evaluates and adapts to changing user requirements to maintain the MIGS and TIGS systems while supporting multiple systems deployed around the globe
  • Assist in managing project data integration and tracking of financials, quality levels, and implementation of corrective actions based on variance and critical path analysis for the entire product line
  • Manages customer expectations with internal business goals
  • Participates in business planning efforts
  • Communicate and collaborate with other disciplines, (i.e. security, engineering, logistics, manufacturing, management, vendors, customers, and subcontractor personnel
  • Abide by company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a US DOD security clearance
