About The Position

The Business Analyst Intern position at McKinsey offers undergraduate and eligible graduate students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in consulting. Requirements

• Currently in the junior year of an undergraduate degree with expected graduation between December 2025 - August 2026.
• Or in the senior/final year of undergraduate studies planning to enter a one-year master's program.
• Or completing the first year in a non-business, 2-year master's program with less than 2 years of work experience.
• Or in the first year of a two-year commitment with Teach for America and have 3 years or fewer of work experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and create an inclusive environment.
• Capability to drive an independent workstream within a broader team project.
• Comfort with ambiguous and ever-changing situations.
• Ability to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis.
• Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, in English and local office languages.

Responsibilities

• Work in teams of 3-5 consultants to identify and implement solutions for client challenges.
• Gather and analyze information to formulate and test hypotheses.
• Develop and communicate recommendations to client management.
• Present results to client management and collaborate with client team members to implement recommendations.
• Conduct interviews with clients and lead client teams as needed.
• Build financial models and work with McKinsey subject experts to develop insights for clients.
