About The Position

As a Business Analyst - Integration Requirements, you will make an impact by driving the analysis and documentation of integration requirements for complex systems. You will be a valued member of our Consulting team and work collaboratively with architects, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver robust integration solutions.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst with significant exposure to integration requirements.
  • Strong understanding of APIs (REST/SOAP), web services, and batch data processing.
  • Hands-on experience with XML, JSON, and data mapping for integrations and migrations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business teams.
  • Experience in validating APIs using tools like Postman.

  • Exposure to life insurance industry and ACORD data standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex integration issues.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of functional and non-functional requirements for system integrations, including APIs (REST/SOAP), web services, and batch data processing.
  • Develop and manage detailed data mapping documents for integrations and data migration projects, resolving gaps and discrepancies through transformation and enrichment logic.
  • Translate business needs into precise technical specifications, leveraging knowledge of XML and JSON structures.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure alignment on requirements and facilitate design and implementation of integration solutions.
  • Validate and test APIs and web services using tools like Postman to ensure compliance with business requirements and performance standards.
  • Apply knowledge of insurance industry practices and ACORD data standards to standardize data exchange and ensure compliance.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot integration issues, providing clear communication of impacts and resolutions to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate workshops, walkthroughs, and sign-off sessions to ensure clarity and alignment on scope and deliverables.
