Responsibilities An Average day: As the Business Analyst II you will support a large enterprise effort within a complex environment consisting of domestic and international infrastructures and data centers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. You will also contribute to the implementation of solutions that improve operational efficiency and support the objectives of federal contracts. Additionally, in this position you will Assist in requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to identify and document business needs and objectives. Analyze and map business processes to identify opportunities for enhancement and efficiency. Contribute to the development of business requirements documentation (BRD) and functional specifications for project initiatives. Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions. Support the execution of test plans to validate the functionality and performance of implemented solutions. Facilitate communication among stakeholders to ensure understanding and support for proposed changes. Assist in preparing project status reports, risk assessments, and impact analyses. Participate in the creation of training materials and user documentation to support system implementations. Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to recommend enhancements. Ensure adherence to federal regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications As a requirement of this position, all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen. In accordance with 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(2)(C), we will not consider candidates for this position who do not meet the aforementioned conditions. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Must have an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret with SCI eligibility or have an active Top Secret with SCI eligibility. Will be subject to a federal background investigation. 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in federal contracting or a large enterprise environment. Familiarity with business analysis methodologies and tools (e.g., PowerBI, Power Query). Understanding of DOD acquisition lifecycle and milestone requirements. Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., Helix, Confluence,). Basic knowledge of data modeling and process mapping techniques. Familiarity with database concepts and data analysis (e.g., SQL, Excel). Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights. Ability to manage complex data sets (e.g., Budget forecasting, Travel Administration, Asset Procurement, Policy Tracking, Network Management). Pay Transparency Statement AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $125,000.00/Yr. - USD $140,000.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law. Requirements
