About The Position
The position involves developing, implementing, supporting, releasing, and testing procedures for Business Intelligence (BI) reports and dashboard deployments that summarize business, financial, or economic data for review by executives within Nucor Buildings Group (NGB). The role requires managing the timely flow of business intelligence information to users and working with business users and stakeholders at the NBG divisions to determine priorities. The candidate will build certified datasets in Microsoft PowerBI through data modeling, query manipulation, and SQL statements to create advanced analytical reports. Additionally, the position involves designing automated data flows to retrieve and transform email attachments, storing them in a data lake using Azure Logic Apps, and performing big data transformation with Azure Databricks using various programming languages. The candidate will also develop code, utilize source-code control, and create ETL automation pipelines in Azure Synapse Analytics for scheduled business processes. The role includes leading project implementations and user acceptance training sessions, analyzing market data for pricing strategy models, and coordinating technical changes required to create and modify reports and dashboards.
