About The Position

We are seeking a highly analytical and technically skilled Business Analyst to join our team. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technical solutions—leveraging data, coding, and analytical tools to translate business requirements into actionable insights and system enhancements. The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen with hands-on experience in SQL, data analysis, and an aptitude for working with modern business intelligence tools (Power BI preferred). Key Responsibilities: Partner with business units and technical teams to understand processes, data flows, and analytical needs. Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and solution designs. Extract, transform, and analyze data from various systems using SQL and other programming tools. Collaborate with developers and data engineers to implement and test data pipelines, system enhancements, and integrations. Perform data validation, ensure accuracy, and troubleshoot discrepancies across source systems. Identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting efficiency, and automation. Document business processes, data definitions, and reporting standards. Support ad hoc analysis and insights to inform strategic and operational initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field; will consider commensurate experience in lieu of degree.
  • 3–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or in a related technical role.
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying, joining, and aggregating data from relational databases.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, data flows, and system integrations.
  • Familiarity with one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, R, VBA, or C#) for data manipulation or automation.
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear analytical and technical requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Position requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant US based experience.
  • To be considered candidates must reside in Oklahoma

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Power BI or other BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Qlik) for data visualization, modeling, and dashboard development.
  • Proficiency with Power Query, DAX, or ETL tools.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and relational database design.
  • Experience working with financial, operational, or enterprise data.
  • Exposure to agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
