The Business Analyst Expert plans and/or monitors an assigned departments’ annual and/or multi-year work plan portfolio of jobs. Incumbents collaborate with stakeholders to plan and/or track the execution of work related to the overall portfolio by driving the creation of high-quality work plans and/or analyzing the work performance and execution efficiency or work in the portfolio. The Analyst establishes methods to gather data from leadership, finance, project management, operations, and other stakeholders for the portfolio/work plan. Analysts may utilize customized software and/or ERP systems to manage portfolio/work plan data and may be involved in driving the adoption of new planning systems and related processes cross departmentally. May also be involved in business process improvement, quality control and special projects and other initiatives The incumbents strive to keep the portfolio/work plan balanced with costs and resource availability. Disclosure: PG&E is providing the salary range that can reasonably be expected for this position at the time of the job posting. This salary range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.
