About The Position

Your Role The Operational Governance team provides analytical support to operational teams supporting enrollment, renewal, billing, and reporting. The Business Analyst, Experienced will report to the Operational Governance Program & Project Manager. In this role you will support renewal and process changes through requirements gathering, impact assessments, readiness planning, change management, and implementation support. This role will also support efforts related to group structure assessments, premium billing reconciliation, and both internal and external reporting.

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Requires at least 3 years of prior relevant experience
  • Requires intermediate level experience in MS Excel and MS Access
  • Experience collaborating with business partners and stakeholders, both remotely and in person
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • At least 1 year of project management experience is desired

Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical support through the analysis and interpretation of data in support of cross-functional business operations
  • Contribute to annual operating plans, capital budgets and forecasts, and build business cases for new business initiatives (cost/benefit analysis)
  • Develop, prepare and analyze reports for management review, and present to various levels of management
  • Define business requirements and provide analysis to increase operational efficiency
  • Analyze actual results against plan and forecast and recommend interventions where appropriate
  • Support planning, impact assessments, and readiness efforts for renewal of select clients
  • Manage ongoing reporting needs by gathering requirements, testing automation, and completing all deliverables within contractual timeframes
  • Assist with issue research, mitigation efforts, and post-deployment validation for all code changes
  • Provide support for all mandated communications to both membership and regulatory agencies, including Center for Medicaid Services (CMS), California Department of Insurance (DOI), and Department of Managed Health Care (DMHC).
