About The Position

The Business Analyst will play a critical role in supporting project delivery by ensuring all business, functional, and testing requirements are clearly defined, documented, and validated. This role serves as a key liaison between project managers, technical teams, and business stakeholders, helping to streamline execution, accelerate delivery timelines, and improve overall solution quality. In addition to managing requirements and UAT processes, the Business Analyst will support project coordination efforts, enhance documentation standards, and contribute to scalable, repeatable project practices across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role with exposure to project delivery, requirements gathering, and testing coordination.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles
  • Proven experience coordinating and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including issue triage and final sign off.
  • Demonstrated ability to document requirements, maintain traceability, and support test planning efforts.
  • Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar).
  • Experience working in agile, waterfall, or hybrid project environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to interface effectively with both technical and non technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable managing competing priorities and supporting multiple projects in a fast paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within a matrixed or cross functional organization is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage all business, functional, and UAT requirements for assigned projects, ensuring clarity, completeness, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Gather, analyze, and validate requirements in collaboration with stakeholders, end users, and technical teams.
  • Coordinate all UAT activities, including test planning, test case validation, issue triage, and communication with internal and external partners.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact during UAT phases and provide final sign off on testing outcomes from the team’s standpoint.
  • Facilitate communication between business users, project managers, and technical teams to ensure expectations are aligned throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support stakeholder testing efforts by providing guidance, clarifying requirements, and ensuring readiness for test execution.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of requirements, test plans, sign off materials, and other project deliverables.
  • Ensure documentation is accurate, up to date, and accessible for auditing, reference, and knowledge transfer.
  • Assist project managers with prioritization and sizing of incoming work based on business value, complexity, and resource availability.
  • Support backlog grooming and contribute to agile or sprint planning activities as needed.
  • Provide project coordination support at both initiation and delivery stages, ensuring requirement clarity and testing completeness.
  • Monitor requirement fulfillment, testing progress, and readiness to help keep projects on track and aligned with business goals.
  • Recommend improvements to requirement gathering processes, testing workflows, and documentation standards.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, cross functional alignment, and operational excellence.
