About The Position

The Business Analyst - Data at Broadridge plays a crucial role in supporting the Digital Transformation organization by providing strategic business and data analysis services to the Finance community and business partners. This position focuses on executing activities within the digital transformation strategy, analyzing data, performing data sourcing analysis, supporting data governance, and managing data quality to ensure the success of the enterprise Data Strategy.

Requirements

  • Experience with Master Data Management and Data Governance practices.
  • Proficient in project management lifecycle phases and agile methodology.
  • Experience working on medium scale projects and handling day-to-day operational requests.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to foster strong relationships and communicate effectively.
  • Proficient in MS Project, MS Suite (PowerPoint/Excel), Jira, SQL, etc.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in business and data analysis.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in financial services or fintech industry.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in finance.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately source required data into the enterprise data platform, ensuring data requirements and quality expectations are met.
  • Perform business analysis activities to capture accurate requirements, maintain source-to-target mappings, and define data quality rules.
  • Assist project/program managers on larger, more complex projects.
  • Support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs across Finance.
  • Utilize formal and informal communication methods to provide progress updates and facilitate project meetings.
  • Lead or participate in multiple projects by managing project scope, adjusting schedules, and ensuring timely delivery of project tasks.
  • Identify, create, and facilitate data sourcing plans and requirements focusing on quality improvement and data management.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders to support the implementation of data solutions and monitor progress.
