We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst – Custom Applications, Salesforce, and AI Enablement to join our growing Technology team as we invest in AI to support how our teams work across sports, entertainment, and culture. In this role, you will focus on custom-built internal applications and AI-enable solutions, partnering closely with business stakeholders and engineering teams to translate ideas into clear, build-ready requirements. You will help identify, shape, and embed AI-enabled capabilities into real workflows, ensuring solutions are practical, well-governed, and deliver measurable value for teams. You will also own Salesforce configurations and enhancements where appropriate, helping ensure solutions are well-scoped, feasible, and aligned to how teams work in practice. Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role
  • Strong experience supporting custom applications, internal tools, or platform-based solutions
  • Experience working with development or integration teams in build-oriented environments
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce capabilities and configuration concepts (hands-on configuration experience is a plus, not required)
  • Ability to understand system interactions and data flows at a conceptual level
  • Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder coordination skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with intake or workflow tools (e.g., Asana, Monday, Smartsheets) is a plus
  • Experience in media, sports, entertainment, or other fast-paced, relationship-driven industries
  • Familiarity with enterprise platforms (CRM, financial systems, data platforms, workflow tools)
  • Experience supporting globally distributed or international teams
  • Curiosity and comfort working with emerging technology in governed, responsible environments

Responsibilities

  • Gather and document business and functional requirements for custom applications, internal tools, and AI-enabled solutions
  • Partner with engineering and integration teams to translate requirements into build-ready specifications
  • Help define workflows, user journeys, edge cases, acceptance criteria, success metrics, and exception handling for new solutions
  • Support initiatives involving automation or AI-adjacent capabilities, with a focus on usability, adoption, and operational fit
  • Participate in backlog refinement, testing, UAT, and rollout support
  • Support Salesforce enhancements and configuration in partnership with admins and delivery teams, including objects, fields, flows, validation rules, and page layouts
  • Help design workflows that span custom applications and Salesforce
  • Provide input on data handoffs and system interactions to ensure clarity and consistency
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify and shape AI use cases aligned to productivity, automation, and efficiency outcomes
  • Support AI pilots and phased rollouts, ensuring solutions are embedded into everyday workflows
  • Act as a business-facing interface for approved AI tools and platforms
  • Help assess feasibility, value, and readiness before initiatives move into delivery
  • Promote adoption by ensuring solutions are understandable, practical, and well-documented
  • Work closely program, product, and technology leads to clarify scope, priorities, and dependencies
  • Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to ensure requirements are feasible and well understood
  • Ensure solutions are feasible, aligned, and avoid duplication, unnecessary complexity, or shadow systems
  • Contribute to improving standards and processes for documenting and delivering requirements
  • Support reviews of tools and workflows for newly acquired or onboarded teams, documenting gaps and helping transition to shared platforms
