About The Position

The Business Analyst (Corporate Communication) role at GBSI is designed for a passionate IT professional who thrives on collaboration and innovation. The successful candidate will work closely with various stakeholders to drive initiatives that align with business objectives and improve overall outcomes.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Business / Systems Analysis or Quality Assurance.
  • A degree in IT / Computer Science.
  • Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing.
  • Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools.
  • Basic knowledge in generating process documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT and/or Project management role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive initiatives to meet business objectives.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic and complex environment.
  • Demonstrated ability working with Microsoft Office product suite.
  • Proven track record of communicating effectively across stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, including the ability to support multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Leads business requirement gathering to understand enhancements needed.
  • Supports roadmap development and maintenance of product backlog.
  • Coordinates across business stakeholders to prioritize needs for deployment that advance objectives.
  • Communicates strategy and portfolio to key business stakeholders and facilitates buy-in across key stakeholders including all digital innovation initiatives.
  • Works closely with Product Line Leads and partners to implement enhancement initiatives to advance business outcomes.
  • Coordinates with business stakeholders to identify pain points within processes and technologies.
  • Engages with technical teams supporting resolution of IT solution issues and incidents.
  • Defines configuration specifications and business analysis requirements.
  • Performs quality assurance.
  • Defines reporting and alerting requirements.
  • Owns and develops relationships with partners, working with them to optimize and enhance integrations.
  • Helps design, document, and maintain system processes.
  • Reports on common sources of technical issues or questions and makes recommendations to the product team.
  • Communicates key insights and findings to the product team.
  • Constantly looks for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues, and deliver better value to the customer.
