About The Position

As an Advanced Business Analyst Consultant, you will engage in a dynamic and collaborative environment, focusing on technology initiatives that enhance data analytics solutions for MassMutual. This role emphasizes business analysis, stakeholder management, and agile project management, requiring a commitment to data integrity and governance. You will mentor junior team members and facilitate the translation of business requirements into technical specifications, ultimately supporting data-driven decision-making for executive leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 4+ years of experience in business analysis and agile project delivery.
• Strong skills in requirements elicitation and documentation.
• Experience in stakeholder relationship management.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, and similar tools.
• Expertise in using Python and SQL for data analysis.
• Experience with business intelligence tools like Tableau, MicroStrategy, and Alteryx.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in computer science or engineering or related field.
• IIBA or CBAP Certification.
• Experience with ELT methodologies and tools.
• Ability to manage diverse projects impacting multiple roles and processes.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for technical teams.
• Manage stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support project management activities and agile ceremonies.
• Design, build, and deploy dashboards, reports, and analyses for data-driven decision-making.
• Identify and implement process improvements in the business analysis delivery process.
• Capture and document system flow and relevant technical information.
• Develop data quality standards and tools to ensure accuracy.
• Mentor junior team members on best practices and analytics standards.
