About The Position

Millennium is a top-tier global hedge fund with a strong commitment to leveraging innovations in technology and data science to solve complex problems. The Commodities Technology team is responsible for the development and support of the data, research, risk, and trading platforms and tools used by our Commodities portfolio managers.
We are seeking a Business Analyst to drive adoption and maximize value realization of our Commodities technology platform across the organization. You will be responsible for creating compelling content, comprehensive documentation, engaging tutorials, and hosting interactive demonstrations to ensure our trading tools, analytics, and platform capabilities are fully leveraged by end users. You will work closely with Commodities Portfolio Managers, Risk teams, Trading, Operations, and Engineering to bridge the gap between powerful technology and practical business applications. This is a unique opportunity to drive significant value creation across a range of key functional areas for one of the world's leading investment managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM or related field required.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in user enablement, technical communications, or platform adoption within an investment bank or buy-side firm, with strong focus on bridging technology and business users.
• 3+ years of deep Commodities markets experience with comprehensive understanding of front-to-back workflows, trading instruments (futures, options, swaps, structured/physical), and how technology supports these processes.
• Demonstrated experience in training and demonstration delivery, including presenting to senior stakeholders and creating engaging educational content.
• User experience mindset with ability to identify adoption barriers, design intuitive workflows, and create user-centric documentation and training materials.
• Strong analytical skills to assess user adoption patterns, identify improvement opportunities, and measure the impact of engagement initiatives.
• Knowledge of SQL and working proficiency in Python to create practical examples, demonstrations, and tutorials showing real-world usage of APIs and analytics libraries.
• Familiarity with modern content creation tools including video editing, interactive guides, and emerging AI-powered documentation tools.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to build trusted relationships across investment, technology, and operations teams.
• Self-motivated and organized with ability to manage multiple content initiatives, training programs, and user engagement activities in a fast-paced environment.
• Track record of driving measurable adoption outcomes in demanding front-office environments, demonstrating integrity, efficiency, and proactive problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Drive platform adoption by developing and executing comprehensive engagement strategies that increase user utilization of trading tools, analytics, and platform capabilities across Commodities Portfolio Managers, Risk teams, and Operations.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including user guides, best practice tutorials, workflow documentation, and API reference materials that enable self-service adoption and mastery of platform capabilities.
• Host regular demonstrations and training sessions showcasing new features, advanced use cases, and optimization techniques for trading and risk tools, ensuring users stay current with evolving platform capabilities.
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base covering data access APIs, analytics libraries, and trading tools, ensuring documentation stays current with platform evolution and user feedback.
• Design and deliver onboarding programs for new users, ensuring rapid time-to-value and comprehensive understanding of available tools and best practices.
• Develop and track adoption metrics including user engagement, feature utilization, and value realization indicators to measure the effectiveness of engagement initiatives and inform strategic decisions.
• Develop trusted partnerships with world-class investment, technology, business and operations professionals
