About The Position

The Business Analyst will play an important role in shaping the success of the company’s initiatives/projects as well as improving our internal processes and frameworks. The position will be part of the Business Operations Support team and will report directly to the Juris Banking Deposit Operations Director. The ideal candidate will have the ability to evaluate and interpret business vision and then formalize them into structured business requirements for business stakeholders, project managers, and software engineers to use. This role will also be tasked with coordinating projects, supporting new or existing business applications, solving organizational information problems, and improving internal system or process controls.

Requirements

• 4+ years of related experience.
• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
• Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
• Intermediate experience with data analysis and research with the ability to identify and escalate cases or inquiries to mitigate bank risks.
• Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite.
• Intermediate experience with banking applications and systems preferred.
• Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide input to the Business Operations Support team to prioritize incoming business requests.
• Consult with Business Units and Subject Matter Experts to identify, clarify, and document project objectives.
• Collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations.
• Assist in coordinating management team members to ensure objectives, goals, and milestones are on track.
• Ensure any changes are captured and effectively communicated to the implementation team.
• Will act as the key interface between the business and the project manager as they gather information, document processes, and confirm the final documents.
• May assist the project manager in providing more detailed project objectives; business needs analysis; clear, structured, usable requirements; tradeoff analysis; requirement feasibility and risk analysis; and cost-benefit analysis.
• Develop test schedules, review or create test plans, and track and document development/results.
• Verify solutions meet the requirements.
