The Electronic Health Records (EHR) Business System Analyst 4 will support the EHR program and possess experience within a Clinical/Health/Bio-Tech environment. The analyst will have familiarity with HL7 and its family of standards including Version 2 (V2), Clinical Document Architecture (CDA), and Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR). This role involves supporting the Health IT Unit in the implementation of the EHR solution, collaborating with clinical staff and IT leaders to translate clinician requirements into coordinated specifications for the EHR solution. The analyst will define Health IT requirements for clinical disciplines as they relate to the strategic plan and unit mission. Additionally, the role includes providing business analysis on clinical processes, workflows, and related artifacts, contributing to project/program implementation, infrastructure, system architecture, planning, project initiation, business analysis, requirement definition, systems design, systems development, system testing, systems implementation, ongoing maintenance and enhancement, effective problem identification and resolution, production service and support, and systems administration support tasks to ensure computer applications assist the client in achieving its day-to-day mission. The analyst will implement downtime readiness procedures and internal reporting regarding system response time and service level agreements for connectivity and operational effectiveness of Health IT, ensuring compliance with the VITA project management standards and procedures for development, enhancement, and deployment of applications developed or procured by Health IT/ITU to deliver services that satisfy user requirements and Health IT/ITU.
