This Summer/ Fall Trainee position is from June through December 12th (start and end dates are flexible based on your schedule) and all candidates must be able to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday in the specified location. This type of opportunity will jump-start your career and prepare you for a career in the desired field. This is not a remote role. A hybrid work option may or may not be available.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in documenting processes, workflows, and system functionality clearly and efficiently.
  • Demonstrated ability to create clear and effective visual presentations.
  • Familiarity with website management tools, content management systems, or knowledge base software.
  • Ability to analyze application workflows and translate them into accurate, user-friendly documentation.
  • Excellent written communication skills for creating guides, user manuals, and technical documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all documentation efforts.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or Technical Writing.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in documenting business processes, creating how-to guides, or maintaining knowledge base systems.
  • Exposure to tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, or other knowledge base and documentation platforms.
  • Knowledge of sales planning, supply chain, or ERP systems.
  • Previous internship or project experience related to business analysis, documentation, or knowledge management.
  • Proficiency with visualization tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with generative AI tools for enhancing documentation efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Support the collection, processing, and analysis of data related to SKUs and assets, with a focus on improving documentation accuracy and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with teams to gather documentation requirements and maintain user-focused knowledge base materials.
  • Identify and address documentation gaps to enhance transparency and efficiency.
  • Support project management activities related to knowledge base development, including task tracking, timeline management, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop clear visual representations of complex topics, such as stakeholder interdependencies, system integrations, and workflows, using PowerPoint presentations, diagrams, charts, and other tools.
  • Curate and update artifacts in support of standardizing business analysis processes, deliverables, and best practices.
  • Assist in documenting the 'As-Is' state of applications used within the Transactional Sales team.
  • Build and update application-specific knowledge base websites, ensuring documentation is centralized, easily accessible, and regularly updated.
  • Create clear and concise visual representations of complex topics such as system integration diagrams, cross-functional flowcharts, and process flow diagrams.
  • Develop, refine, and curate comprehensive step-by-step guides for different user scenarios.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document clear, detailed user stories.
  • Design and write test cases that can be used for automated testing in Playwright.
