About The Position

Canon USA in Melville, NY is currently seeking a Business Administrative Coordinator III (Coordinator, Bus Admin III). The Business Administrative Coordinator III represents the organization to customers by providing information, responding to inquiries and troubleshooting product problems. This position is in the Computer Peripheral Products Division (CPPD) which purchases laser printer, cartridges and spare parts from suppliers and sells them to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) customers. This position is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days). Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Typically requires general and/or vocational training plus 2 to 4 years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel skills, such as VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Tables is required.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and finance is preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing and/or logistics company is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Process and handle orders for merchandise and materials from Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) customers including PO management, price control, logistics support, billing, and other financial transactions.
  • Communicate with OEM customers and suppliers including responding to non-routine questions that require deviation from standardized procedures, in which investigation, analysis, and solving of customer issues are necessary.
  • Manage budget which includes forecasting & calculating sales, profit, expense budget, and keep track of actual results.
  • Produce budget vs. actual comparison, various checking on SOX controls, and represent the division for internal & external audit purposes.
  • Collaborate with internal and external parties, such as Canon Inc. business and Canon U.S.A. Inc. Finance & Accounting and Logistics department.
