About The Position

This internship will provide support to the Risk Management team, with a focus on various CSM Corporation and CSM Lodging Services Incorporated initiatives. These initiatives include enhancing operational delivery, maximizing profitability, mitigating cybersecurity risks and other Risk Management related projects. The intern will gain an understanding of project management, real estate management and market and financial analysis. The learning process will incorporate a combination of hands-on experience, mentoring and supervision from the Internal Auditor, and practical assignments. By the end of the internship, the intern will have a broad understanding of business administration and real estate management.

Requirements

• Must have completed at least two years of college, preferably working towards a Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Possesses a strong sense of personal responsibility for work outcomes.
• Demonstrates organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Exhibits a solid work ethic and sees projects through to completion.
• Displays strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates excellent computer skills (especially with Microsoft Excel).
• Must be flexible and take initiative.
• Maintains confidentiality of company information.
• Possesses a basic understanding of process improvement and a willingness to explore new ideas.

Responsibilities

• Support the Internal Auditor on audits throughout the company
• Work closely with all business lines to gain a comprehensive understanding of the real estate firm's diverse operations
• Engage in market analysis projects
• Support Return on Investment (ROI) assessments
• Execute Cybersecurity initiatives in partnership with the Internal Auditor and IT Department
• May also gain hands-on experience financial experience with renovation or new construction projects
