About The Position

The University of Florida is looking for a Business Administration Specialist to support fiscal and security operations across the Division of Enrollment Management. In this role, you will provide critical support for the Division's fiscal management and security transactions, as well as assist with various administrative tasks. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Fiscal Management and Processing Process financial activities for state, auxiliary, gift/grant, foundation, and concession accounts totaling several million annually. Coordinate purchases, travel authorizations and reimbursements, vendor payments, deposits, transcript and application fees, reconciliations, and cash boxes. Input and retrieve information in university financial systems, including requisitions, purchase orders, vendor payments, deposits, travel authorizations, and expense reports. Analyze, interpret, and apply relevant policies, and recommend operational improvements when appropriate. Maintain financial records and provide periodic reports. Assist with developing and justifying operating budget requests. Administrative Support Provide administrative support for the Finance team, serving as primary point of contact. Handle document creation and editing and file organization as needed. Participate in business process reviews and stay informed of changes. Collaborate with team members to address regulatory, compliance, and technology updates. Security and Access Administration Serve as a Department Security Administrator, managing myUFL access and roles. Review access routinely and certify authorizations. Remove access as needed for employee departures. Other Duties Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and one year of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
