About The Position

Responsible for greeting customers, answering a large volume of calls, routing them to the correct person/department, mail distribution, electronic filing of warehouse and sales documents into digital imaging system. Additional clerical duties as assigned, including processing vendor statements to ensure all invoices and credits are in the Accounts Payable system. Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in customer service
  • Experience using a multi-line switchboard phone system with a high-volume of calls strongly preferred
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Basic PC knowledge
  • Proficient with 10-key operations and credit card processing
  • Organization skills

Nice To Haves

  • Cashier or retail experience a plus
  • Basic accounts payable and accounts receivable knowledge preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers with the highest level of customer service whether on the phone or in person to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Answer and transfer incoming calls to the appropriate person or voicemail
  • Scan packing slips, invoices and other documents into the electronic filing system
  • Take customer credit card payments over the phone. Ability to look up customer balances due
  • Provide copies of invoices, credit card receipts and other documents to customers
  • Balance the cash drawer at the end of day
  • Operate in accordance with Rampart’s established systems, policies and procedures
  • Actively monitor, and adjust processes recommending measures for improvement to increase overall efficiency and productivity
  • Provide administrative support as needed for the organization
  • Assist with other projects in the office
  • Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor
