Establishes and fosters strategic partnerships among businesses, professional and trade associations, unions, and other business and industry partners to implement programs. Enters data into and monitors the employer database. Develops and implements training and development opportunities in areas such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 503 Federal Contractor Requirements. Provides information and responds to inquiries related to employment opportunities that meet client goals and skills of job-ready clients. Explores and develops marketing activities in collaboration with VR marketing staff. Maintains regular & reliable attendance, possesses a valid driver’s license and travels independently, and works in a variety of settings. Working Conditions and Travel: This position requires approximately 30% of work time spent in an office environment; the remaining 70% is spent traveling or working in alternative sites such as meetings, partnering businesses, career centers, and other VR offices. There is also approximately five days of overnight travel per year.
