Job Description Summary: Responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of community vehicles and the safe transportation of residents. Consistently and genuinely demonstrate the HEROES principles of HELPFUL, ENGAGED, RESPONSIVE, OUTSTANDING, EXCELLENCE and SUCCESS in all activities and interactions. Drive residents to appropriate destinations. Provide excellent customer service while achieving or exceeding the company’s goals and objectives. Complete vehicle maintenance logs in order to ensure safe transportation for community. Fuel vehicles as needed keeping accurate fuel and maintenance records. Maintain appearance of the interior and exterior of vehicle. Assist residents as needed in and out of vehicles, ensuring safety at all times. Provide individual service support to residents such as assistance with packages, groceries, etc. Assist all departments with other duties as needed and/or assigned by your supervisor. Provide transportation for multiple communities, splitting duties as needed or assigned. Communicate any identified resident concerns/issues to the Resident Services Coordinator or site-specific Property Manager in a timely manner. Operate vehicles in compliance with all applicable safety and local jurisdiction regulations. Operate vehicles appropriately with respect to driving conditions such as associated with inclement weather. Schedule transportation efficiently in order to maximize availability of service to residents. Maintain vehicles in the safest possible operating order with strict adherence to preventive maintenance guidelines. Participate in and attend all required in-service training sessions. Ability to access all areas of the community. Other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
