About The Position

Pay Range: $14.72 - $29.33 In this role, you'll get hands-on with some of the biggest tires in the business. Your work will directly support public safety and keep the transit buses ready. Requirements

  • Relevant experience and education required
  • Frequent bending, lifting, and moving tires over 50 pounds (and pushing with over 100 lbs. of force).
  • Exposure to heat in summer, cold in winter, and common cleaning or lubrication chemicals.
  • Comfortable working with tools and machines in a shop environment.

Responsibilities

  • Mount, balance, rotate, and repair large transit bus tires.
  • Maintain tire equipment and tools - we count on you to keep things running smoothly.
  • Load and unload tires and related materials.
  • Keeping the work area clean and hazard-free - safety is always first.
  • Participate in team meetings and stay up to date on procedures.
  • Complete documentation and service logs accurately and on time.
  • Use personal protective equipment and follow all safety protocols.
  • Tackle other tasks as needed - there's always something to learn.
