About The Position

SUMMARY: Responsible for cleaning and resetting tables, monitoring tables for customer needs and duties requested by supervisory personnel, in an efficient courteous manner displaying a high standard of customer services.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • One to three months related experience and/or training.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or Team Members of organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • The Team Member is regularly required to stand, and walk.
  • The Team Member is frequently required use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; occasionally the Team Member will sit, climb or balance.
  • The Team Member must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • When on the casino floor, the Team Member will be exposed to a smoke-filled environment.

Responsibilities

  • Interacts effectively with the public and Team Members.
  • Perform excellent customer service at all times.
  • Responsible for clearing all tables, resetting them for new seating; ensuring tables are set in accordance with venue standards and customers achieving a pleasurable dining experience.
  • Responsible for approaching newly seated customers, serving them bread, butter, water etc. in a courteous manner.
  • Assists Food Servers in serving the customers throughout their meal, observing the customers for any requests for service, clears all dishes from the table after customers are through eating, continually providing them with a clean, neat eating area.
  • Maintains compliance with all regulations of health and sanitation standards as well as all applicable federal, state, local laws/ordinances; to include maintaining applicable food safety certification.
  • Performs as a team member with venue Host, Supervisors, Food Servers and Kitchen Staff in maintaining a smooth and efficiently operations.
  • Assists if needed with Food Runners and Dishwashers.
  • Helps maintain restaurant cleanliness.
  • Responsible for maintaining a regular and consistent attendance record.
  • Maintains a cleanliness of all side stations; responsible for stocking.
  • Any reasonable request made by management.
  • Perform job duties, demonstrate excellent work habits, and deliver exceptional service to internal and external guests.
  • Exhibit the highest degree of professionalism, including appearance, attendance, reliability, teamwork, ethics, integrity, and comply with all governing policies and procedures.
  • Employ positive and professional communication skills and exercise professional interpersonal abilities (tact, diplomacy, and respect) with guest and co-workers at all times.
  • Maintain a high level of organization, including an orderly and neat work area and excellent time management skills leading to the highest levels of productivity.
  • Demonstrate a desire to succeed and willingness to help others succeed.
  • Participate in open communication and provide feedback to management regarding operations, staffing, personal development, and operational productivity.
  • Serve as contributing Team Members of CGRC enhancing operations in all its business endeavors.
