About The Position

As a Bus Person at La La Noodle, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant. Your responsibilities include efficiently clearing and resetting tables, promptly removing used dishes, and assisting servers by refilling water glasses and ensuring the dining area remains tidy. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness contribute directly to creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for our guests.

Requirements

• One year or more of experience as a bus person or food runner in a restaurant setting preferred.
• Able to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient table turnover by promptly removing dirty dishes, debris, and linens, then transporting them to the kitchen for washing while disposing of trash in designated receptacles.
• Collaborate with servers to deliver exceptional guest service in an upscale Pan-Asian restaurant environment.
• Prepare tables by meticulously polishing flatware, setting up appropriate silverware, glassware, linens, condiments, and accessories, including proper arrangement of napkins and clean ashtrays in designated smoking areas.
• Maintain impeccable cleanliness standards by clearing, cleaning, and sanitizing booth/chair cushions and tables thoroughly, promptly resetting with clean linens, ashtrays, votive candles, glassware, and any required tabletop items.
• Provide attentive beverage service by serving water, coffee, and soft drinks, ensuring timely refills as needed.
