About The Position

The Bus Person sets up and removes all tableware, and assists the Food Servers as required. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant environment.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older to work in this position.
• Must possess and be able to maintain a current Health Card or other required certifications as required by geographical area of the property.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to work with weight measurements, volume, and distance.
• Must be able to effectively communicate.
• Ability to read and write simple correspondences, memos, and lists.

Responsibilities

• Keep side stations stocked.
• Assist Food Servers as necessary.
• Help control waste and breakage by handling service ware with caution.
• Load and unload bus tubs with care.
• Avoid discarding reusable items.
• Assist in keeping the restaurant neat and clean.
• Wipe down chairs, tables, child seats, and pick up floors around each table bussed.
• Observe good sanitation and safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Be available for scheduled work.
• Exhibit the Family Style Service model at all times.
