About The Position

The City of College Park seeks to employ a Full-Time Bus Operator for the Seniors Services Division of the Department of Youth, Family, and Seniors Services. The ideal candidate must be willing and able to: Transport senior citizens to shopping, medical appointments, and various events typically within an 8-mile radius of College Park on weekdays. Assist seniors with packages, groceries, and boarding/exiting the bus as needed. Some additional program support as required, including office duties and program setup/breakdown assistance The person must have a valid CDL with passenger endorsement. This is a full-time position (40 hours) with benefits, including Maryland State Retirement. The starting hourly range is $25.41 - $26.69, depending on experience. All candidates considered for the position will be required to undergo a background investigation, a pre-employment physical, and a drug screening.
