About The Position
The Guild of St. Agnes is the largest early education and care agency in Central MA with a mission to provide families with quality and affordable childcare in a safe and nurturing environment. Join our team where you will make a tremendous impact on children's lives, one that can have a lasting impression! We are currently seeking a Bus Monitor for our Worcester locations. This individual will be responsible for the safe delivery of children to The Guild and the safe return of children to their appropriate caretaker while upholding our professional reputation of excellent care and courtesy. The monitor will work in partnership with the Bus driver to maintain positive, safe, and reliable transportation of children ages 2 years to 12 years.
Requirements
- Must be able to sit, bend and lift children up to 40 pounds
- Maintain a current first aid and CPR certificate
- Pass and maintain a Background Record check in accordance with the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC)
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and documenting bus sheets of attendance/count of children entering and exiting.
- Apply knowledge of car seat regulations and seatbelts for all children based on weight and age.
- Maintain the guardian authorization/consent forms and conduct identity verification.
