About The Position

The Transportation/Bus Monitor position is essential for ensuring the safety and well-being of students during their transportation to and from school. This role involves monitoring student behavior, assisting with boarding and disembarking from the bus, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The position is full-time and is part of the Auxiliary Compensation Plan for the 2025-2026 school year.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• First aid and CPR certification.
• Previous experience in a transportation or monitoring role.

Responsibilities

• Monitor student behavior on the bus to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
• Assist students in boarding and disembarking from the bus.
