About The Position
This position is for the 2024-2025 school year. The role involves operating a school bus over designated routes in accordance with time schedules, picking up and discharging students. The primary responsibility is to provide safe and efficient transportation for district students to and from school, special events, and field trips. Additionally, the position requires performing daily inspections and operator maintenance of the vehicle, as well as assisting in the loading and unloading of physically and mentally handicapped students as necessary. These positions can range from 6.5-8 hours per day and 170 student instructional days, 4 holidays, and 5 extended days for a total of 179 days per year. Contracted days will be adjusted depending upon the start date. This position is considered full-time with benefits.
