About The Position

Bus Driver position, following the A.F.S.C.M.E. Master Agreement
Transportation of students in a safe and timely manner to and from school or other related events or activities
Other duties as may be assigned
Other qualifications are also considered in the final selection of a person to fill this position.

Requirements

• Must possess a High School Diploma or G.E.D. certificate
• Must pass pre-employment background checks and annual physical exam without restrictions per Michigan transportation rules and regulations and Federally mandated random drug and alcohol testing per district policy
• Must possess a valid Michigan driver's license, prefer applicant to have a current CDL-BPS Certification, however, willing to train
• High level of competence in English language skills
• Ability to work and maintain good rapport with co-workers and the community
• Self-motivated and ability to work independently
• Possess a good attendance record
• Must have an acceptable driving record
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications, as may be found appropriate and acceptable

Nice To Haves
