About The Position

We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Bus Driver to join our elite team in Commerce City, Colorado. As a key member, you will be entrusted with operating a 40-foot bus for RTD, ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service. Requirements

19 years or older
Valid CDL Class A or B with passenger and airbrake endorsement or permit (full-time paid training for obtaining CDL)
Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional)
Excellent communication & customer service skills.
Availability to work, day, evening, weekend, holidays and overnight shifts as assigned.
Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
Be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (if based in the U.S.).
Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

Operating your route safely and on schedule
Providing friendly, professional customer service to passengers
conducting vehicle inspections to ensure safety and comfort
Being a reliable trusted face in the community
Working collaboratively with dispatchers and fellow drivers
Other duties as required
