About The Position

We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Bus Driver to join our elite team in Commerce City, Colorado. As a key member, you will be entrusted with operating a 40-foot bus for RTD, ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service. Transdev is proud to offer: $27.49 - $35.47 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement PayScale) Starting pay: $27.49 with progression to $35.47 over 8 years. $4,000 Sign-On Bonus — Offer valid through 1/31/2026 Pay raises twice per year Benefits Include: Competitive PTO package starting at 40 hours of vacation, 3 personal days, and paid sick leave 6 paid holidays per year Medical, dental & vision after 30 calendar days of employment for full-time employees, life insurance, 401k retirement benefits. Requirements

  • 19 years or older
  • Valid CDL Class A or B with passenger and airbrake endorsement or permit (full-time paid training for obtaining CDL)
  • Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional)
  • Excellent communication & customer service skills.
  • Availability to work, day, evening, weekend, holidays and overnight shifts as assigned.
  • Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
  • Be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (if based in the U.S.).
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.

  • Operating your route safely and on schedule
  • Providing friendly, professional customer service to passengers
  • conducting vehicle inspections to ensure safety and comfort
  • Being a reliable trusted face in the community
  • Working collaboratively with dispatchers and fellow drivers
