About The Position

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned, as necessary. Roles and Responsibilities: Acknowledges , greets and converses in English with guests who require the Resort’s shuttle/bus service. Safely transports guest via hotel shuttle or bus and adheres to all rules/regulations/laws with regard to the state of Mississippi and the Department of Transportation. Operates a motor vehicle with care and diligence. Accurately completes and handles paperwork related to scheduling and tracking of shuttle/bus use. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies. Enforce Project 21 policy and procedures by monitoring area for underage gamblers. Suggests players in Caesars Rewards, Caesars Rewards App, Play by CR, and Caesars Rewards Visa. Suggests products, services and experiences to guests. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

CDL Driver’s License with a Passenger Endorsement and medical card.
A minimum of 3 years direct customer service experience is required with the ability to provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service to every guest every time.
Must possess excellent written and communication skills. Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation with guests.
Driving record must meet the Harrah's standards to drive company vehicles.
Must have knowledge of city and knows directions to airport, other casinos, restaurants, etc.
Must have knowledge of Gulf Coast events, shows, attractions etc.
Able to work flexible schedule including any day of the week and any shift.
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Strong attention to detail with both trip logistics and customers
Must have excellent customer service skills.
Must be able to converse fluently in English with customers.
Must pass a drug test.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Maintain knowledge of current property events, promotions and attractions.
Comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to work effectively in a team setting and independently.
Must present a well-groomed, professional appearance.
Must adhere to uniform/appearance requirements.
Ability to appreciate and be friendly with all Harrah’s Gulf Coast team members who are of various ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
Able to accept direction of Senior Leadership.
Physical dexterity to operate a bus, transport guests or employees through crowded parking lots and surface streets in all kinds of weather.
Ability to maintain an upbeat and energetic manner throughout the entirety of their shift.
Ability to operate the wheelchair lift for guests who require the assistance.
Able to read, write and speak English sufficiently to perform job.
Available to work any shift, holidays and weekends.
Ability to tolerate cigarette/cigar smoke and e-cigarette vapor.
Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions (hot/cold).
Responds to visual and aural cues.
Must have manual dexterity to be able to operate the following equipment: computer, telephone, photo copy machine, fax machine, ten key, and printer.
Able to tolerate a loud and noisy environment.
Able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
Able to sit, stoop, reach and bend.
Able to lift heavy baggage and luggage up to 80 pounds.
Able to push and pull up to 200 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as a bus driver or motorcoach driver is preferred.
