About The Position
Prince of Peace Catholic School is seeking a dedicated bus driver to safely transport students and other passengers to and from athletic competitions, field trips, and various events.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
- Class B CDL with School Bus Endorsement required.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Ability to meet vision and physical requirements.
- Demonstrated knowledge and appreciation of Catholic faith life.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum 2 years of school transportation experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport students and passengers to scheduled destinations.
- Monitor and manage student behavior on the bus.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary bus environment.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
- Report incidents, route changes, and maintenance needs promptly.
- Assist passengers during boarding, exiting, and emergencies.
