Requirements

  • Must be a citizen or have a Visa permitting work in the United States.
  • Must be physically able to perform job duties.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have at least five years of prior driving experience.
  • Must be willing to undergo a criminal history background check.
  • Must provide a Driving Abstract from the Department of Licensing.

Responsibilities

  • Complete a successful WSP and FBI background clearance check.
  • Submit a Washington State Sexual Misconduct Disclosure Release.
  • Provide valid documentation for I-9 Employment Eligibility.
  • Complete a W-4 Form and Washington State Department of Retirement Status Form.
  • Maintain immunization history and complete Hepatitis B training if required.
  • Obtain a valid Washington State Driver's License and Class B CDL with appropriate endorsements.
  • Acquire valid school bus driver authorization and maintain a five-year complete school bus driver abstract.
  • Achieve valid first aid qualification (eight-hour Red Cross or equivalent).
  • Meet all requirements of WAC Chapter 392-144 regarding drug disclosure and fingerprinting.
