Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Bus Driver / Security Guard position. In the role of Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting residents to/from scheduled outings, appointments, shopping trips, and community events. This role is crucial in supporting the independence and well-being of our residents by providing friendly, timely, and safe transportation services. In the role of Security Guard, you will be responsible for conducting regular patrols of the community's premises, both on foot and by vehicle, to ensure the safety and security of all residents, personnel, and property.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year passenger or commercial driving experience
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class B or higher) with passenger endorsement (or obtain within six months of employment)
  • Must be eligible to obtain a Security Guard Certification, if employed in the state of Maryland (or obtain within the 3-month introductory period)
  • CPR, AED, & first aid certification (or obtain within the 3-month introductory period)

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or emergency services is preferred
