About The Position

The position involves providing exceptional customer service as a shuttle/bus driver at Harrah's Resort. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting guests, ensuring compliance with regulations, and delivering on the company's service promise. This role requires a commitment to proactive service and the ability to engage with guests effectively.

Requirements

• CDL Driver's License with a Passenger Endorsement and medical card.
• Previous experience as a bus driver or motorcoach driver is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years direct customer service experience is required.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Ability to initiate and engage in conversation with guests.
• Driving record must meet Harrah's standards.
• Knowledge of city directions to airport, casinos, restaurants, etc.
• Knowledge of Gulf Coast events, shows, and attractions.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including any day of the week and any shift.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong attention to detail with trip logistics and customers.
• Fluency in English with customers.
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Maintain knowledge of current property events, promotions, and attractions.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting and independently.
• Present a well-groomed, professional appearance.
• Adhere to uniform/appearance requirements.
• Ability to appreciate and be friendly with diverse team members.
• Ability to accept direction from Senior Leadership.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge, greet, and converse in English with guests requiring shuttle/bus service.
• Safely transport guests via hotel shuttle or bus, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
• Operate a motor vehicle with care and diligence.
• Accurately complete and handle paperwork related to shuttle/bus scheduling and tracking.
• Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to company policies.
• Enforce Project 21 policy by monitoring for underage gamblers.
• Suggest products, services, and experiences to guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
