About The Position

The primary purpose of this position is to operate district non-CDL vehicles to provide safe and orderly transportation of students and other authorized persons on assigned routes and to and from other designated locations. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid class C driver's license.
• 20 hours DPS School Bus Certification (will help acquire if needed).
• Ability to clearly and accurately record information.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work effectively with youths and adults.
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbally).

Responsibilities

• Operate district non-CDL vehicles for student transportation.
• Ensure safe and orderly transportation of students and authorized persons.
• Follow assigned routes and designated locations.
