About The Position

The Bus Driver/Mechanic is responsible for the safe transportation of Greeneville City School students. The Bus Driver/Mechanic is also responsible for the maintenance and repairs of a variety of school owned vehicles. The full time position will work 40 hours per week and DOES include benefits.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid Tennessee Class A or B driving license with School Bus and Passenger endorsements - WE WILL PROVIDE TRAINING to interested applicants
• Three (3) years’ driving experience preferred
• Must be familiar with all local, state and federal laws, rules, and regulations pertaining to school bus operation
• Must have satisfactory background/fingerprint checks as required by the Tennessee State Department of Education and state law
• Must meet health and physical requirements as required by the Department of Transportation and the Tennessee State Department of Education
