Requirements

• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL B) is required.
• A passenger (P) endorsement and no air brakes restriction is preferred, but not required, at time of application.
• Valid and current medical card.
• Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.
• Ability to receive a favorable TIER-1 investigation result and obtain and maintain a CAC.
• High School Diploma / GED.

Nice To Haves

• No minimum years of bus driving experience.
• If applicant does not have a current Passenger (P) endorsement, this can be taught, trained, and tested by the in-house Trainer.
• If applicant has air brakes restrictions, the applicant can be trained and tested by the in-house Trainer to qualify for a no air brakes restriction.

Responsibilities

• Drives bus to transport military passengers over specified routes to local points according to time schedule.
• Regulates heating, lighting, and ventilating systems for passenger comfort.
• Complies with local traffic regulations and reports delays or accidents.
• May inspect bus and check gas, oil, and water before departure.
• Transports passengers between pickup points and may drive diesel powered bus to transport passengers over established on-post routes.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) before, during, and after missions.
• Report deficiencies and ensure vehicles are properly maintained and serviceable.

Benefits
