About The Position

The Community Bus Driver at Brownsburg Meadows Assisted Living plays a critical role for residents by providing transportation services to and from appointments and activities. This position is available in both full-time and part-time capacities. Requirements

  • Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values (Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, Excellence) to residents, family members, customers and staff.
  • Must be 25 years of age or older.
  • Good standing and current Operator’s License.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide transportation services to and from appointments and activities for residents.
  • Safely transport residents in and out of the vehicle utilizing ramps, wheelchair tie downs and lifts.
  • Provide safe and secure travel for residents.
  • Create a comforting, calm and engaging atmosphere for residents.
  • Work towards a common goal of excellent care for residents.
