About The Position
The School Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting students over specified routes according to a time schedule while complying with traffic regulations. The driver must perform daily pre-trip inspections, ensure the presence of emergency and safety equipment, and adhere to the district's operating guidelines and state regulations. The role requires maintaining scheduled stops, reporting accidents, and ensuring passenger safety at all times. The driver will also participate in on-site training and complete other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or superintendent.
