About The Position

The Bus Person and/or Dish washing Person is responsible for setting up the restaurant for lunch or dinner. During the shift, the bus person clears and wipes down tables and chairs, and sweeps the floor. The dish person operates a dishwashing machine to clean dishes, pots, pans, and other utensils used by employees and customers.

Ability to learn basic job routines
Ability to communicate effectively
Not currently infected with or having knowledge of being currently infected with a communicable disease which has been determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services as one which is transmissible to the public through the handling of food
Comply with the applicable city Department of Health regulations as well as Jason's Deli's dress code policies
Ability to stand and exert mobility in a fast-pace environment for up to six (6) hours in length
Frequent reaching, bending, squatting and stooping
Ability to safely lift and carry up to 30 pounds repetitively
Maintain regular attendance
Use equipment including telephones, cash registers, calculators, knives, meat slicers, buffalo choppers, the robocoupe, drills, mixers, can openers, scales, and dishwashing machines

Nice To Haves

Enrolled in high school or a certified G.E.D. program or have their high school diploma or G.E.D.
At least six months work experience (unless currently attending high school, college, or a technical or vocation school)

Responsibilities

Set-up the restaurant and get it ready for lunch or dinner
Clear tables off and wipe the tables and chairs down
Sweep the floor
Use a dish washing machine to wash dishes, pots, pans, and other utensils used by employees and customers
